Without batting an eyelash, I snatched their Highlighter in Crescent Moon. AFTER I had a new boxed one in hand, I decided to swatch the tester, meh, for the hell of it. It was just as I thought. Really finely milled and pigmented. Perfect for an effortless swish over the cheekbones for an added daily glow. The new one in hand? Justified.
Moving on. The lipsticks colour options I really liked as well. Kind of more of a matte but thin consistency which makes it really easy to blend into the lips. I reached for a doll pink colour called "Brighton Rock" and swatched it. Sold.
Next, it only makes sense to pick up a matching blush right? They had about 4 cream blushes, and y'all know how much I love me some cream blush. The doll pink one named "Afternoon Tea" just seemed to go nicely really with the lipstick to give that subtle doll faced look, so (again), took me about 3 seconds to make THAT decision.
Lastly, the Magic Liner eye liner pen in Engraved. Liquid liner is an everyday staple for me. Yep, every darn day. I just love the defined look it gives to the eyes. I use the Sephora Brown Long Lasting Liquid Liner as my daily go-to. I always try to give liner pens a shot but am always disappointed. They just never seem to go on as fluid and smooth as regular liquid liners. However, I still did want to give it a try. I have to say, it doesn't drag across the eye like the other pens I've tried. And with all pens, it does give a better sense of control over liquid liners. Yeah, I'm warming up to it...
