So after coming across this product in numerous websites describing it as the "staple product" of almost every makeup artist and makeup obsessive, I decided to finally cave. Embryolisse Lait-Creme Concentre (24 hour miracle creme) is a french product, so right there you know there's potential, developed by a dermatologist in the 1950's (and its still around selling millions of these babies). Add that to the unbelievable hype surrounding this moisturizer and you know something has to be there.
Emryolisse Lait-Creme Concentrate is typically used under makeup as a base, prepping it by both smoothing out the skin and nourishing it at the same time - a double whammy! It can also be used at night after cleansing the skin. In 4 words, it's meant to moisturize, nourish, protect and repair the skin.
Keep in mind this is quite a rich moisturizer so if you've got issues with shiny or oily skin I would not recommend this for you, unless you want to give this a shot as your night time moisturizer. I've personally been using this for the past 10 days and Im noticing a definite difference in my skin (albeit not that long of a time frame). My skin feels soft, smooth and definitely a tad more radiant - which Ill credit to its "cell renewal accelerating" properties. In short, I'm giving this a 'thumbs up'.
As for price, its at the mid to high range at 18.50 GBP from Cult Beauty. However, skincare is something I'd be happy to pay the price for. You only get one face, right?
